This well respected family run funeral directors possessed the foresight in preparing their premises for the next sixty years of business. The key factor in the implementation of a new chapel of rest, ancillary accommodation and specialist garages was to give consideration to the close proximity of housing and privacy of both neighbouring properties and users of this building. The outcome is a building which is peaceful, spiritual and sympathetic to its use.

A farmhouse which lay amongst rolling fields was found by a family of four who sought a building to call home. With the building in need of attention and a growing family, a modern extension was offered without detracting from the character of a typical Welsh farmhouse. This modern intervention offered the open space of modern living; a kitchen and dining area with the addition of an en-suite master bedroom and walk in wardrobe at first floor. The way light enters the new extension and views which are framed by generous apertures make this a comfortable and inspiring place to call home.

A generous addition to accommodate the aspirations of this forward thinking funeral director included an extension to the existing chapel of rest with external covered areas, larger ancillary accommodation and specialist garages for funeral vehicles. Warm and colourful materials have been used to provide an establishment which is both sympathetic and soulful, allowing some comfort to be felt by the visitors of this building.
