We were asked to consider a sensible addition to this detached property which would incorporate a garage, additional master bedroom and an enlarged kitchen dinner.  With the first floor element set inline with the existing dwelling a ground floor spectacle aperture is all that is visible from the front elevation. This large aperture provides for lovely south facing light and warmth.  Additionally a curved wall creates a feature for this light to fall upon and move during day.
